Ship of Fools is a five piece classic rock band playing the music of the Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Jimmy Cliff, Van Morrisson, Chuck Berry, Bob Marley, Pink Floyd, The Band, Talking Heads, Warren Zevon and others. 

Formed in 2012 in Sarasota, Florida, Ship of Fools features soaring leads, driving rhythm and tight harmonies.  The band performs improvisational rock and blues, blending folk, bluegrass, reggae, and traditional American music in a dynamic mix.

Ship of Fools enjoys playing all over Florida's Gulf Coast at dozens of venues and events including the Five O' Clock Club, Gator Club, D'Coy Ducks, Ace's Live, Blue Rooster, Growler's Pub, Cabana Inn, Cortez Kitchen, Swordfish Grill, Woody's River Roo, WLSR 96.5, Ka Tiki,     JR's Old Packinghouse Cafe, Fogartyville Cafe, Ale and Witch, St Pete Brewing Company, Blasé Cafe, Eco Fest, Stottlemyer's Smokehouse, Old School, Skipper's Smokehouse, Towniefest, Darwin's Brewing, SRQ Club, Shamrock Pub, and Giving Hunger the Blues.
